That explains why every time I push for a few hundreds more off the price, they always ask me at that time whether I would be financing. And more often than not, I made the rookie mistake of saying "Yes, I am already pre-approved from an outside bank". They would then proceed to reject my counter offer. lol.

My 350 was $2k more, that's ridiculous I thought most automakers give their employees like factory direct discounts or corporate discounts?

So I went to the dealer yesterday to test drove an IS350 F sport ML, BS. White/black interior.
Sticker price 48k, 1500 off MSPR (without negotiation) they first gave me 16500 on my trade (2010 IS250 49k miles) . I laugh and told them i prefer to sell it privately with 20k. After back and forth they decide to give me 20k on it and the final OTD price was 48k. I didn;t feel was a good deal and told them I'll think about. Wasn;t too decided to commit as I found the car a bit slow at low RPM. Felt it much like my IS250 which is really weird. I think i need more time to play with it.

That's probably not a bad price to be honest considering they agreed to a trade in price of what you wanted. From what I've read here, most people are getting the 350 Fsport for $46-47k and that's without ML.

Hello all,

Went to a lexus dealer in Arizona today, made a 46k offer OTD for an IS350 F, it was a demo with 2800 miles, with the navigation system and the Mark Levinson sound, trunk mat, cargo net, whl locks and rear bumper app (whatever that is!) clear bra, tinted windows; they came up with a 47k offer back and I refused it.
What do you guys think?
Thanks

I think you made the right call. I always make a point to tell them what I'll give them. Then stick to it. They need us. You don't need them.

Definitely the right call, 2800 miles? Are you kidding me?

Picking up my IS350 RWD F-Sport with BSM, ML, and Steering today. MSRP was $48, 612 and got about $2,200 off by going through USAA buying service. Had to watch the dealer carefully because they tried to slip in a different price on me at the end.

Thank you, I will wait until the end of the month and give it another try.
Is the ML sound system a lot better than the stock sound system?
