according to my dealership I got the last 350 Fsport with the White/Red combo coming into the east coast for 2013. I purchased the car in late November. it was the first of this color combo 350 they got. At first they were rushing to get the deal done but I wanted to be stingy and got into a fight with one of the managers and left. its funny because the car which was supposedly the hottest/hardest car to find on the east coast just sat there for 2 weeks. Sensing the negative energy perhaps? the dealership gave me the car for 46000 and OTD with my trade in was about 48. including bodyside mouldings/ edge guards and tints. haven't looked back since.

This how I feel about custom orders, they have a 100% chance of selling you that car, because it is your customer order. And they try and entice you with it saying how unique it is, none like this are in the system, etc... But while waiting for it to be built I would emphasize my bottom line, until eventually they got the point that I wasn't going to go for anything close to MSRP...

As I said they have 100% of selling that car to me, but if I bolt... There's no telling how long it's going to be in their inventory, taking up space, affecting their ability to get say, acquire a more reasonably priced car, or one not as "custom." So they best find a way to sell it to me to get rid of it...

Point two to not paying more for a custom order, if I pass, and my friend comes in right behind me after I walk to get that car, to him it's not a custom order it's just dealer stock, so really what is the difference between the two?

Kind of late, but here's the deal I got from steven's creek lexus in San Jose near the end of December 2013. Not sure if it's a great deal or not, but the fiance loves the car.

2014 IS250
Starfire White / Black Interior
Navigation
Premium wheels
Backup camera
Cargo net
Wheel locks
Heated/Vented front seats
Blind spot monitor
Lexus enform
Satellite radio for 1 year

I think that's it.

MSRP: $41,858.00
Selling Price: $36,858.00
Rebate: $750 for taking a higher interest rate (2.79% vs 1.9%). I then went to my local credit union and got a new loan for 1.65%. Also my credit union gave me $100 to do the loan.

OTD: $36,108.00

$2541.00 under invoice
who was your sales person?

It looks like a good deal.
Congratulation.

Does the payment indicated include tax? Zero drive off or did you have to pay ~$800 at the beginning?

Going to lease a 2014 IS350 F-Sport, Nebula grey with Rioja red
came with Navi and Mark L system and etc.
got a deal so far for $0 down with $460 a month for 24 month.
or 2K down for 350 a month.
I'm not big in the detail numbers as I do not plan to buy off at the end of the lease.
as long as I can afford monthly payment and its good deal, that's good enough for me.

should I take that deal right the way ?
