Can someone please explain these security deposits on a lease to me? I leased my new IS250 a few weeks ago and asked about the deposits. I was given blank stares by the salesman and the financing guy.
I get that it buys down the MF to a lower rate, but do you get the money back? If so, what are the conditions?
Is this at every dealer?
Who are you supposed to ask?
Is it negotiable?
