Default Aftermarket Wheels on the 3IS? What do you think will fit?

Pulled the trigger on a white IS350 F-sport and looking at wheel options...

I'm keen on the Vossen CV7 in 20x9, 20x10.5.

For those that have seen the car in real life, does it look like we'll have the same amount of room in the wheel well as the current generation of IS?

I'd also like to hear from vendors or any new owners that might be able to shed more light on this, I've analysed the available photos to death but it isn't getting me any closer.

It looks about the same to me. I pulled the trigger on the Lux package instead of the F-sport I originally ordered. Looking at the rear with the 255 and a nice enough gap, I would go out on a limb and say that most of the previous fitments should work. If the factory offset is a 40 all around...then let the mods begin.

Thanks for the input! Anyone can confirm the factory offset of the 18"?

That is true. I do believe it was posted by Joe Z. It is as you would have it when shaved but straight from factory this time. Only spot for concern would be the bolt for the bumper on the inside rear. With an aggressive fitment you might have to sacrifice some camber to dodge the upward travel of the tire on the rear form touching that portion with maybe a 10.5 running 275 for those who dare. It won't be long until someone gets a pair and goes for it. I'm busy with my 13GS mods so I plan to go slow with this one.

Thanks Jayro for the heads up, it's really good to know! My heart is set on the CV7 but I guess what is holding me back now is what offset to run, how much camber adjustability in the rear from factory and how much things will change with a small drop via springs cause I don't want to go coil overs this early on.

I am guessing 19x9.5 22 et front and 19x10.5 22 et should sit flush with the 3IS I am assuming.

Can I also get a guess for 20" Although I think I might find my answer very soon! Vossen guys have gotten a hold of a IS350 and will be trialing fitment!

We are happy to announce we will measure, 3D scan and have pictures of our wheels on the 3IS shortly as in this week. Big thanks to the Ahsangroup.

Initially we will fit CV models and later some of the Vossen Precision Series...
