Drop in price and more features are always a good thing.

Looks pretty good, but I'm bummed that I can't get Levinson without also getting navigation. I'm not interested in navigation, and an extra $3,225 for an upgraded stereo is probably not worth it for me.

I'm hoping they finally package F SPORT with more than just navigation and 18" wheels. Would be great if Mark Levinson, Rear Sunshade, LDA w/Back Up Monitoring and Park Assist were options as well. I'm still annoyed about the loss of fog lights and heated seats only on F SPORT.

I am a bit concerned that options like, PCS w/Radar Cruise, Blind Spot Monitor w/RCTA, Automatic High Beam, Heated Steering Wheel, LED Headlamps and etc are missing and not priced on that list. Lets hope they didn't get deleted off the U.S. spec option list.

I'd say hold out at least 4 months most dealerships are seeing the numbers drop in new car purchases and are depending on their used car market to make up for week sales in the new car market. Give it a few months and you'll have much more bargaining power.

good thing about it is that they all look the same when it comes to the nav... so you can basically get base and it will look nice... before you had to get luxury + nav (as it was packaged), which was very expensive, or you would end up with 1 line stereo.

so this time around I can get base F-Sport and I will be happy with it.

Does this mean there's no way the F-Sport can get any Luxury Package options (eg. Blind Spot Monitor)?
I was hoping for more high-end addons for the F-Sport... now I'm torn between Luxury and F-Sport.

almost similarly priced to the q50, but the q50 is bigger, AND likely safer than the IS

Safer? How do you figure?

Bigger isn't necessarily a good thing. I say this as someone who just suffered a Buick Regal rental this week...

The Lexus will hold its resale value better and will be more reliable. Big checkmarks.

the pricing is actually a little better than I had thought, I was expecting 48k for F Sport IS350 with Nav/ML but its $46300

so those dash knee pads are an optional extra? That has to be the most bizarre option ever equipped to a car

only $3500 difference between 250/350. Got to be insane if you buy a 250. Not onyl are you getting the stronger engine, bigger brakes, you'll get an 8 speed transmission.

This is the tough decision I face as well, unless going for the AWD version. And not to mention there is no memory seat (that implies no power telescoping steering wheel) for F-Sport.

I'm going for AWD... what difference does it make other than price?
