If you get a chance to drive the F-Sport please help check if the LFA-like taco leaves a rev mark after shifts and lift-offs, and if its background changes color near and at shift points, like the LFA's does (in S+ mode at least). Very curious and so far no video has ever shown the gauge in action when the car is being driven.

Thanks. Not sure which video you're talking about, but I did just find this video that shows that the needle does leave a mark after shifts and lift-offs (at 0:43), though the background color doesn't change. Cool enough.

Now that 3IS has grown in size, while 4GS has improved handling, some people might be cross shopping the two. Which would you take, Hoovey?

The current IS250 (European version) has folding mirrors, windows and sunroof closing with the key fob so I believe that the new one should also have it.

#1 Probably Euro version only
#2 This will definitely by a euro version only feature. Many car makers disable this feature for the US versions, but they allow remote roll down. My guess is to cover themselves, from a law suit when someone inadvertently rolls up the windows with the remote and injures someone.
#3 Given the current Lexus trend it will probably be a dealer acessory
#4 I'd like to know as well. Hoping for something that sounds fun but not obnoxious.

Thanks Hoovey for this very well written and informative piece. Things sound mostly positive, which is another step in the right direction. Hope to hear more personal reviews on the actual drive soon.

When the first photos of the 3IS came out earlier this year showing the White IS ......... everyone seemed to not like it all ??? Not for nothing but this video with the White IS sure looks sexy !! I was set on Silver but now I'm not so sure

#2 To add, auto-folding mirror is available for Asian market (Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc) as well. It is mostly standard due to tight parking spaces. Even a Corolla or Civic has this feature for years....
