You cant order LX570 in Germany or Europe. So it was imported from somewhere, US? They are all built in the same factory too.

That's an easy fix for the exterior. By clicking F-Sport you will be giving up those extra creature comforts such as ventilated front seats.
You can have your cake in this generation, but you can't eat it. Similar to the GS. Base, F-Sport and Luxury. Some things you can only get on F-Sport or Luxury and the same applies to the 3IS

Then it was probably the US. Maybe I'm confused with his old Land Cruiser Diesel... However, he notices significantly worse fuel consumption in LX570 from Qatar compares to other one after a few months of ownership.

LC200 V8 Diesel would spend 15l/100km on average while LC200 V8 300hp would spend 25l on same roads... LX570 probably a lot more.
Of course with LC150 4cly D4D it would spend less than 10l... so pick your poison :-)

I'm mad too, this is why I never got a current 350 F-Sport.
I will confirm all this in April when I get to see the actual car. Hoping they give us seat time behind the wheel

That's what I've seen in pics and spec sheets. Check out this picture, pay close attention to the seat heaters. Notice it's only heated unlike the GS which has a ventilated Icon next to the heaters
