Definitely RWD 8AT. Not a fan of the extra gearing but I know it was done for fuel economy purposes.

If your area has tons of ice and snow, getting AWD is a no-brainer.

Not worth sacrificing it to get 8AT but with RWD when the road conditions in your area are really slippery.

I'm voting 6AT (AWD) =)

This.

Only problem here is to get RWD, you need to special order.

AWD is great, but you lose the fun as it is very planted car then... So in Seattle, I would say RWD... it doesnt snow that much, just put the winter tires on (I used to live in Edmonds).

I have a 4 wheel drive truck so no need for AWD. I just keep the car parked in the bad weather.

I also don't like the wheel gap on Lexus' AWD models. Plus there's the gas consumption too.
I don't know where in WA you are, but I got a RWD IS 350 FSport from Lexus of Bellevue 3 weeks ago. They have a lot more AWD 3IS's but they do stock RWD.

Good to know. I walked around last week and didn't see any 2014 IS350 in RWD (maybe none at the time or I just didn't see it).
