Same here...I would buy a non f-sport IS but then I would lose out on the LFA gauge, suspension and other goodies. Might have to just switch the bumper out to a non f sport model.

What is it about?

I'm asking because many people like the Fsport grill, but not the bumper.

I don't know if I can work with the incongruity of the standard grill...too much going on.

I like the non F-Sport grille better.

I originally thought the F-Sport grille was "the grille" for the entire IS segment, so I started looking at alternative vehicle replacements (yes, that's how much I hated it).

However, I love (almost) everything else about the F-sport model (still a little confused on whether there will be fog lights), but I believe a grill mod will eventually end up being available, so I'm back on board the 3IS train.

Now the challenge is to stop looking at this thread because I don't like buying the 1st year of any new model and/or model design. My ideal purchase time is the 3rd year (i.e. '08 with my current IS). ...but it's gonna be tough. I'm already feeling the itch!

You know, I've always felt the same way, but if you read the 4GS forums nobody is having any serious issues, and the car has been out almost a year now...

I like the F SPORT grille because the design is consistent. The regular IS grille, not so much.

Agree consistent design, fits the family. I like f-sport grill better.

The more I see the F Sport version the better i like it. The non F Sports are very nice as well and since these will be the majority of the IS's it'll only make the F Sports even more special !! The cool LFA like instrument cluster alone is worth the price of the F Sport IMHO !

That said, this is probably one of few cars where I actually would consider getting it in black or a darker grey, as opposed to white.

I didn't like the F-sport at first. Now I think it might be the best looking car Lexus has ever built. I've never turned such a 180º on a car before, but the F-sport looks better every time I see it. The non-F-sport models look great as well, but the F-sport is just a whole other level of awesome.

I was pretty turned off by the F sport grill initially, but I can appreciate it now when the car is a dark color. The non F sport grill seems more agreeable, but the interior is a deal breaker.
