I really like both. Personally I would lean towards the IS but I think the G/Q50 is a nice evolution/revo from the current. Fixes a lot of what I don't like about it.

I cannot wait for the comparison test. As we've seen, the ATS and even the C-Class have some what unseated the 3-Series. So throw the 3IS, Q50, S60, A4/S4 into the mix and let's do this!

If the 3IS really does take after the 4GS, then it may very well take the crown or at least be second to the ATS and its amazing Magnetic Ride Control.

The biggest question is the Q50, which remains the wildcard..

Lexus forum likes Lexus. They wiill like the new Q50.

To me the Q50 is conservative especially the interior. The IS looks bold and futuristic and sporty inside and out. With the Q50 sedan dropping the manual now both are autos. The Q50 hybrid is a nice offering. The Q50 also is a larger car.

I have to see it in person but maybe an IS in the future....

Of course if you run a poll between a Lexus vs 'other' in a Lexus forum, Lexus is most likely going to win... Try creating this poll in the Infiniti forums... you'd probably get the opposite...

Q50 = dual clutch transmission ? paddle shifters will actually do something, let's hope the
paddles work on the IS this time around.. besides the ISF

The Lexus has really grown on me. While the exterior of the Infiniti is nice and conservative, the interior looks a bit too much like the Hyundai Sonata.

You mean the Sonata's interior looks a bit too much like Infiniti.

It does not have a dual clutch. They word it to sound like that but it is a traditional automatic and its for the hybrid.
