Are the LS taillights considered "dramatic"? I like them but wouldn't call them dramatic.

Sorry, it's just that I got super excited when I saw these photos and then had a deja-vu moment on why they seemed so familiar to me. I think the endless waiting has me on edge for next batch of pics.

Biggest wow factor will be interior upgrades. When do we see those spy pics?

Looking by this pic, foglamps are retained, but with the grille being the horizontal bar type, it's safe to say this is not F SPORT. Please Lexus, do not delete the foglamps for the new IS F SPORT!

The front brake calipers look like they are the same as the IS350. Also noticed that the rear calipers are on the side of the rotor closest to the front of the car. The 2IS has them near the rear.

Exclamation

Well rumor has it that the MY14 US Spec IS F-Sport will also 86 the fog lamps...

I hope it's FALSE... Otherwise I will have figure out and install the OEM Fogs again..

The MY13 GS F-Sport looks 100 times better Fogs...!!!

Mini GS with smaller greenhouse and better stance sure looks like a winner....

I agree with what someone else said, this car does not look as sleek and low as the current IS. This new one seems to sit taller, more like a BMW 3 series.....more emphasis on function (headroom, interior space) than presenting a low, streamlined profile. That's what the world of sports sedans is all about. If Lexus has any hope of matching BMW they have to play in their sandbox. Personally, I still find my 6 yo IS 350's styling to be fresh, I am not tired of it at all, but it is time for a new model

The prototype appears to be a AWD which stands taller than regular RWD model. Knowing that Lexus will add coupe to the IS line, sedan should have more room at the back. Coupe body style of the current IS sedan is attractive, but losing it for more comfortable backseat isn't a bad thing IMO.

I'm glad to finally be seeing some "real" spy shots of the re-design as it's way long overdue. I'm a little dissappointed though to hear that the engines will be carry over except for the IS250 and I'm also dissappointed to hear that the size is basically the same. The current car is way too small for a "small" four door sedan. Even teenagers can't fit in the back seat comfortably.

May be an artifact but the driver's side fog lamp looks like a ring of LEDs (cool if true)
