Default Looking to purchase. Narrowed down to 2

So I'm looking to purchase a used IS 250 and torn between 2. Need some advice from owners.

The first is a white 2010 with 59k miles and 1 previous owner. Got them talked down to 20k.
Smooth ride but miles are a bit high for my taste but then it's a Lexus which I've never owned before.
This model is certified and covered until 100k miles according to what dealer is telling me.

The second is a grey 2008 with 45k miles and 2 previous owners but no warranty on this one. Currently listed at 20k but I'm sure I could get them down to at least 18.5. I like this year body style slightly more and it's definitely nicer in the grey but I'm in Texas and the sun was bad on my current black Acura RSX with bad oxidation so that's a factor I'm considering. Also the 2008 seemed like it had an inch or 2 less legroom than the 2010 (I'm 6'2) but that could just be my imagination.

Both have clean carfax with no accidents I'm just really curious as to whether either has a big advantage over the other. The warranty is a big factor in my mind despite it being a Lexus. Can anyone give me some insight into this decision?

Thanks!!

Is the 2008 an AWD model? That drivetrain protrudes into the cabin, reducing legroom.

No it's RWD.

It definitely felt like slightly less legroom though. Maybe the seat had additional settings on the 2010?

Is it just me or does $20k seem a little high for an '08 IS250, even with only 45k on the odometer??? Bought our '06 IS350 five years ago with 72k for less........... Five years ago!

Go for the 2010 it has a little more miles but the car is newer and you get the warranty. As to you feeling more room I doubt it cuz all 2006-2013 are exactly the same nothing changes, well only slight changes to the bumpers and headlights/tail lights.

Have you test drive Is350? If me I get IS350 for $20k.

This. You need to test drive the IS350 then make the decision.

Ok English teacher. That is why I bought IS350 instead of Is250.

Huh? I didn't mean anything but agreed with your post! There are quite a few of members here regretting not purchase the IS350 instead. To me, the IS350 offers better values and less problems (but they are harder to find).

If the 2010 has navigation I'd go with that one simply because bluetooth audio.

Find out if the 2010 has had the 60K service done. If so and with the warranty it should be a better deal. If not maybe have them perform it as part of the buying condition.

Navigation makes the car looks so much cleaner and more modern. Even the cheapest cars these days have a navigation, so a car without it will look pretty outdated unless it was a hardcore sports car.
