These look great Mike, especially on a dark IS.

Looks sick! These are the best looking version of these taillights. Only thing I was surprised about is how normal they look without the lights on. Can barely make out the L shapes with lights off.

Not hating but black housing around it makes it look cheap. When you brake, only the side light turns on. It would be nice if it had LED's on the inner part of the L shape lights. I still think the SPEC-D are better looking.

Easy pass.

Pretty sure brake lights on 09 & 2013+ 2IS are like that too. But I do agree the tail lights could do without the black surround.

Agh what has been seen cannot be unseen. Now it makes me feel less bad they're not for the newer models although I still think they're nice.

This is correct

Still now word from Nigel on the wire. I asked if I had the first set but he said there were several in the order that went out with mine. Hoping they went to other members so they can chime in.

It's possible that the wire lighting up the 3 leds are brake lines on the inner tails. I was a lil to find that they didnt come with instructions just for the sake of that one wire. IMO this is where the Spec-D has one up with with wire running down the trunk arm to the outer brake line.

Still no one has answered my question on the Spec-D resistor blocks getting hot... has anyone checked to see if they get hot enough to burn the trunk liner or do they even get hot?

I actually like the black surround but i'm not against all red either.

I ended up getting the Style A version; it was the most OEM-looking to me and I love a stock look.
