Default 2008 is250 power steering swap

is there anyone who has done a power steering conversion from the EPS system to a fluid system? are there any existing systems that can be implemented in the is 250. I just read the thread where someone is doing an LS 1 motor swap and he is using it from the existing ls1 power steering to be installed in the IS. Any systems that are easily compatible???

I just purchased an is250 and as I was driving it off the lot power steering failed on me. I bought the car with a rebuilt title but for the most part the car ran fine. As I am reading through some of the experiences some have had with PS failure I've become more concerned. I think I want to just go ahead and do the conversion and avoid having to deal with the ePS system altogether. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I feel a retrofitted HPS system will probably be less reliable than the stock EPS setup.

But maybe that's just me.

Not sure what components you'd use, but consider a PS pump from a Camry, or maybe possibly some Japanese xGR-F[S]E RWD setups, maybe from around 2003-2005'ish.
