My modding project is done check out the results!
Hi everybody! I just recently became an active member here since getting my wife's 2008 IS350 as my DD. We leased a Murano SUV which she drives now cause of the recent arrival of our little boy 3 months yesterday! Being a car nut at heart who also owns a highly modded 03 Cobra it was time for me to get to work on this nice car. She bought it new in 08 and has been stock since. NO LONGER! Here's a list of what I did and some before and after pics. Hope you all enjoy the result.
Mod list:
Swift springs
Tokico shocks
Stoptech slotted rotors/pads
Stainless brake lines filled with ATE blue
Powdercoated and labeled Calipers
F-Sport intake, shift ****, and pedals
19in Vossen CVTs in Gloss Graphite wrapped in Hankook V12
Car was professionally detailed with headlight restoration

Thank you! My photographer buddy photoshopped the front plate out hehe! Wish I had it removed and filled. Looks cleaner like that. I never understood the need for the front plate in some states. Makes no sense and causes unnecessary holes to be drilled.

Yea I love the wheels. The finish really sets it off against the white paint. I do have slotted rotors on there. Installed Stoptech rotors all around as mentioned in my list. Hmm never thought of converting the DRLs. Had no idea it was an option. There's always something new or different you can do. haha!

Haven't truly tested the brakes yet. Going to register for the next local autoX this month. Will provide feedback. I just saw someone post that up here. Gonna look into that as well. Thanks!

Thanks for the compliments guys! I truly appreciate it. Lovin this car more now.
Yeah the wife got lucky with that. Didn't know they were an option. I actually use the factory wheels for winter duty now. They work great since they're forged. I tried using replicas in the past, but the NJ potholes bent almost all of them. This is what sparked the whole mod bug. I was like ok I need some nice spring/summer wheels then boom it took off from there LOL!
Actually, the ride feels so damn close to factory, but better in regards to response. Since the factory shocks were pretty tired the bumps I hit sounded/felt harsh. Now it all firmed up and feels great. Cruises comfortably without teeth shattering stiffness of other spring/shock combos I heard about like the F-sports. I wanted an improvement in handling, but not give up too much ride quality. This combo got it done!
