Default How Much $$ for an F Sport steering wheel? Anyone know what a good price is for one?

I have one and someone wants to swap. It's identical to stock but just has the F on it. I would guess it would sell for $300 in good condition but maybe it's super rare and worth millions

Ok nevermind: He wants to pay $100. No point in messing up the value of my car for $100. It's salvage title and got it cheap so for a few hundred it was ok but for $100 then no.

What color is the stitching? I think that helps narrow down the model year and the potential value. I have a light grey/silver stitched IS-F steering wheel that would be from a 2011 model, according to my research; but most easier models had the blue stitching.

It looks black to me. I have a 2006 so I assume it's stock and the car was an F sport. But maybe I don't. I don't have the F emblem on the front sides of the car.

There was no "F-sport" model in '06; so it was added after the fact...like what I've done. Also, that should be an IS-F steering wheel; from my research the "F-sport" wheels have a different emblem. It does appear to be dark grey or black. Not sure what model year IS-F those came on.

Oh wow, then my car should go much faster
If it's an IS-F then it should be a more valuable streering wheel right? I don't really care what kind of wheel I have so maybe I should look up the price for used IS-F steering wheels.

Meh, not really; nicer than factory, sure. But not worth a bundle...maybe $300 in good condition.

But a steering wheel gotta make it go faster

I was thinking $300 too. Not really worth my time messing with.

It actually looks like the ISx50 F-Sport steering wheel from 2010 models (not sold in the USA), those were the only ones that had the "F" logo and black stitching. IS F models have blue stitching with the "F" logo and 2011+ ISx50 models have white stitching with the "F-Sport" logo.

2006-2009 ISx50 did not have an F-Sport option.

^Ah, so mine could be a Canadian F-sport model wheel and not an IS-F? I've got silver/lighter grey stitching and an "F" emblem. The seller of my wheel originally was in Canada.

As always, thanks Jeff!

Awesome, thanks Jeff. Someone must be selling the parts over here since probably a better market I'm guessing

If you are going to pay $300 for a single letter, then I guess "F" would be the correct one!

Oh, and by the way Jeff, how the hell do you know all this stuff??

These wheels are perforated leather-wrapped and a tad thicker than stock '06 wheels. I got mine because I wanted my wheel to match the seats and the shift ****; plus being in SC, the hot steering wheel cools more quickly. Try driving with a steering wheel at 120 degrees+!

Sidenote, I paid <$200 for mine.
