Dealership charges $36 for labor if I bring in my own filter and oil. But they also do a thorough analysis of the car.

Local mechanic charges $20 for labor if I bring my own filter and oil but no inspection.

About $70. I just got my oil changed Saturday. Had a $20 off coupon from the dealership, so $50.... Then I used my points to pay for it so free Along with the inspections and car wash. The way I got it set up is perfect. Also got free coffee and donuts for me and the misses.

Your not worried about leaving same filter in for 10,000 miles. What others think about that?

~$40 total here. ~$30 for 6 quarts of Mobil 1 AFE 0W-20 and $10 for a FRAM Toughguard filter.

You should learn to DIY your stuff because I've had all sorts of bad experience with oil changes. One time dealer inflated my rear driver tire to 110 PSI (no that isn't a typo) as part of a "courtesy check"...

I do this ^.

My Lexus dealer charged $98 for Oil Change, Rotation, and Inspection.
My Toyota dealer does all that for $59.
The dealers are only about 2 miles apart !
