Default Help me diagnose this annoying sound!!

Watch this youtube video and let me know your thoughts on what it could be, any help is appreciated as it is driving me nuts

2006 Lexus Is250 AWD

Annoying ticking from rear suspension/wheels. Recently installed new 19" wheels/tires. Checked tires for rocks already. Sound comes and goes.

Have you lowered the suspension or ride height with springs or coilovers? Bad CV joints? Bad wheel bearing? Any leaks from under the rear diff?

If its the hum you are talking about i would say it is more thank likely your wheel bearings.

The issue is the loud clicking, the hum is from my aftermarket exhaust.. rear bearings are fine. As for lowering recently no I have not nor do I plan on it. Cv joints and rear differential are an option at this point. Any other thoughts?

Raise the rear end and put it on jack stands. Drive the rear wheels and see if it happens while its in the air. PS. if you have awd, raise the front also.

It might be your mid pipe hitting the cross bar. I had this clicking sound when I would drive and sometimes on cold starts (car revs higher) and finally figured out it was the mid pipe hitting the cross bar (longer one) there is a small one and a longer one. The mid pipe was like 3-5mm away from it. You can remove the cross bar to see if that's it. I used some exhaust wrap around the cross bar right where it was hitting. No more clicking sound. I believe all the rubber exhaust hangers are little stretched out and need to be replaced. They are expensive at $30 a piece and there are six of them.

Thank you! Sounds like that could be the cause. I will get it raised asap.
