Buying a Lexus IS250 100k+ miles. Opinions?
Hello I'm new to CL. First of all I'd like to apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong section or if I sound like a ****ing noob haha. I've read some pretty great responses on this forum, seems like a lot of you guys are pretty experienced so I'm just looking for some advice.
I'm planning on buying a used 2006 Lexus IS250 from a private seller. Im in love with this model. The thing is it has 114k miles on it. The seller claims its been maintained very well and has the carfax.
I'd like to know:
1. For $12,000 is this a good buy? KBB lists this car for about $12,500 in excellent condition but the milage....idk. What do you think is a fair price?
2. Is there any big issues with this model I should be concerned about? I can deal with minor repairs but I'm not really trying to drop another 2k on repairs.

Make sure the Carbon build up issue has been addressed. Do a search for carbon build up and you will see a post on 80+ pages on this issue. Ask the seller if that has ever been addressed.
