Default chirping coming from glove box

So lately every bump I go over makes a chirping sound from the glove box. Seems to be coming from the door/hinge. Anyone have this issue? Any fix?

Have you changed the cabin air filter lately? If so maybe Air box hinge is broke??

Thanks, I changed the filter a while ago, and didn't break anything. I don't think it's that. It sounds like its actually the door/hinge to the glove box. I'm thinking i may try to take it off and insulate it some how, just curious if anyone else has run into this issue.

Well I guess I'm not the only one. I noticed it stops when I open the door too. I'll try some felt and see what happens.

I had this noise when changing modes, but it gone away by itself When I got someone riding with with me, it can be embarrassing until I explain :/

Haha I have a chirp sound too from the glove box. Haven't heard it lately though and wasn't able to pinpoint where it was coming from exactly since it's out of reach while driving.

OMG I got the same issue as well. Sounds like there's a bird in the passenger dash area. You guys say it may be the door hinge, but I think something is rubbing the plastic panels of the dash somehow. Can't figure it out cause I need a passenger to help me with it.

A lot of times, it's hard to fix noises and rattles because you don't know where it's coming from. Since you already know, how to make it go away, I would just put more and more stuff in between until it goes away, then try to de-ghetto it.
