Hey all, I will soon be getting an IS350 and I want to know if I should get the engine cleaned, or tuned. The previous owner has always taken good care of it and always babied. Is there anything I should have done to the engine to make the engine act like new again. Is that something I should even worry about? I'm interested in this discussion. Please share what you've done if you've purchased an IS350 used.

There is nothing to be tuned other than the normal maintenance.

How many miles are on the ODO? You should register the car at Lexus Drivers website and check the service records. Then make decisions on what need to be done based on that.

All the maintenenace has been dome at Sewell Lexus and nothing's wrong with it. I guess I won't have to do anything besides a really good wash and wax and clean the engine bay plastics. I have two mods planned out install invidia midpipes paired with the stock axle back (can't get anything else exhaust related for a looooooong time) and a red brake caliper painting kit from duplicolor. I'll probably get it at 112500-113000.
