Default New 2010 IS 250 problems

Just drove home a relatively new IS 250 with only 44k miles on it. I bought it from a smaller dealer earlier today. I went for it because my old old Acura with 255K miles was on it's last stretch and I needed something new and initially to save a few bucks, I was considering going for an '09 or '08 with about 60-70k miles which was well-maintained. After deciding to shell out extra for a newer, less used and well-maintained machine, here's what I've noticed just after driving home from the dealership:

1) Switching on or off the headlights changes the RPM of the car, not by much(~50), but it does. As far as I know, this shouldn't happen and a change of 50 should only really be incurred by A/C
2) Switching on the A/C causes the RPM to drop by about 75 instead of rise. That also should not happen as far as I know.
3) The handbrake (emergency brake near the feet) when fully depressed, allows forward motion of the car when in Drive and without touching the gas at all. That does not happen with my 255K Acura
4) This may be a minor point, but when I'm braking, the RPMs drop and go up as the car downshifts, but once I come to a stop, sometimes the RPM hits a low of 450-500 before coming back up to around 700, but not always.
5) Also maybe a minor point, but there is a quiet, audible, sort of high-pitched hum (I have good ears), if and only if the gas is pressed. Not sure what that is or whether that's normal.

I bought this car after a LOT of hunting around and was finally ready to have a little peace of mind about my car, which is definitely eluding me. Needless to say, I am frustrated and annoyed because if I found this within a day of little to no driving, I don't know what else is hiding. The dealer said they did an inspection but I think it's a steaming load of b***s***. I'm going to tell them to have a Lexus dealership give it the same inspection the certified cars go through and foot the bill.

Does anyone know why these things happen with the car? Are they normal? What should I do in your opinion?

That's weird that it didn't do ANY of these things when you took it for a test drive BEFORE you bought it?

1) some of the cars have auto-leveling HIDs these have motors maybe that is what is causing your issue (its also possible that your alternator/battery might need some attention, due to age)
2) Alternator and battery may need some attention due to age
3) maybe the emergency brake need an adjustment see this link:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...djustment.html

4) you might need to clean the throttle body
5) Make sure the radio is "OFF" and see if you still hear the high pitched whine (do not just turn the volume all the way to zero) and report back, also does the whine vary with the amount of gas or is it that once ith starts to whine the volume and intensity is the same level regardless of the amount of gas given?

Hope some of this helps

When i replaced my battery in mine the rpms were up and down until the computer adjust back to normal, the dealer may have disconnected the battery for some reason. The e-brake may need adjustment or the rear pads may be in need of replacement, also enter the vin in the Lexus website to see what recalls have been performed.
