Default Searched and searched.. no luck. Aux-in does not work.

hello everyone! new the fourms here, but ive done my research and still havent found a solution yet. I recently bought a CPO 2007 is350, and everything has worked perfectly on it. I bought a nice aux chord for from best buy which worked great for a couple weeks. One day, all of a sudden i wasnt able to switch over to aux mode when i press the aux button, all it shows is "no cd" keep in mind, i went out and bought a brand new aux chord to test it out. Does anyone know what i did wrong or how i could fix this? Did i do something to short/damage the aux input?

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. It's CPO'd, take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it.

Did you plug it in with the other end then switch to AUX?

See what the dealership will be willing to do to fix it under the CPO warranty. If nothing, I'd start off with replacing the AUX module inside/below the center console.

Try another cable before replacing anything else. I see a lot of customers think the aux plug is bad and it ends up being a cable. Some of them as new as your cable

So i tried having lexus look at it, but it will not be covered under the cpo warranty. So i decided to dianose it myself again. This time I tried using an aux cord from my gfs car and.. it started working. Turned off my car, tried it again, stopped working. and now it has stopped working completely again.

Default How I fixed this with my '09 is 250

I had the same issue with my newly purchased is 250. What worked for me was to connect my phone to the aux cord & turn the music on while the car is off... And then turn the car on. The music should start to play then.. Well Hopefully!

Default Similar Issue

I have a 06... The AUX started to go in and out.. 1st time I replaced the cable, AUX worked for a day, I thought it might be the AZ sun the did something to the cable.. so I bought a new cable at Best Buy... Same issue where I pug in the cable and the AUX works fine.. within a day and a half the AUX stopped working.. I'm on the 3rd cable.. Everything works fine when I place a brand new cable in it.. but it'll stop working after a day or two..

I'm thinking I may need to replace that entire connector?

do you know how easy it is to pop that out and switch it out? I haven't been able to use my AUX for months. I know the cable I'm using is good too

its fairly simple. plastic pry tool should pop it out then its just a plug. if you don't have a plastic pry tool a flat screwdriver with a rag over it usually does well but i have seen the screwdriver pop through and scratch the console liner a few time
