Lexus dealer price matched Discount Tire
I had an eye opening experience when I went in for my scheduled service at Lexus on Monday - Lexus dealers are now price matching Discount Tire!
I was told I needed new tires and a wheel alignment (apparently the IS250/350's eat tires like my daughter does toothpaste once she gets her hands on it). I told them I have used Discount for years and overall had no big problems, besides the pesky TPMS light coming on after tires once or twice.
My advisor told me they are now price matching, which is shocking but should be expected with how competitive the auto market is becoming. I have the 18inch wheels, and I decided to stick with Bridgestones, but I opted for the less expensive RE760 sport tires. Discount priced a set of 4 with road hazard and install for $747 plus tax, and they matched it. I got the alignment done at the same time too.
I love the traction so far, and the tires are extremely quiet as well. Overall, I was happy to get everything done at one place and not have to worry about the tire light coming on because a sensor got broke, or wasn't reset properly. Worth a shot to call and find out, plus if you used to put up with Discount's hustle and bustle to save some money like I did, it's kind of nice to drive around a 2015 loaner for a day or two while getting the work done!

Wow thats awesome. I can guarantee you that the Lexus waiting room is way more comfy than Discount Tire's. For the same price you cannot beat it.
I wish we had a Discount Tire equivalent here in Germany.
Sounds like good stuff to me.
