Need Help Removing Center Console Cup Holder Cover (CB WRAP)

Hi so ive read the DIY on how to wrap your wood grain pieces in Carbon Fiber. So i did but im stuck on the removal of the cup holder wood grain top. Id like to remove it from the cup holder assembly itself. This way i can be wrapped 100x easier. In one of the DIY the person very briefly described how to pop the top wood grain piece off. What im askng is if someone can walk me threw or give me a more detailed instructions so i can complete this job!!! Please help thanks!!!!!
