Default Got into an Accident... (dashcam video)

*sorry, nothing happens after 10sec of video.. I was too lazy to trim it*

well... it happened in late November but I though I'd share it anyways..

I live in Richmond, BC Canada.. where one of the worst group of drivers can be found.
Not so much aggressiveness here, they just suck at driving.

Here you see lady trying to pull U-Turn.

After 2 month of repair...

At one point, I wished my car was write off instead, but I'm glad that it didn't.

I wanted RWD model with certain options only and I don't think I can find another example like my car.

2009 IS250 RWD Sport.
Fully loaded except Nav(which I hate on IS)
Heated/Cooled memory seat on both driver/passenger side.
Adaptive headlight.
F-Sport 19" forged rims, staggered setup.
F-Sport spring.

36k miles

I try and avoid RIchmond as much as possible. All of Vancouver can be pretty bad, but yes, Richmond does tend to be the absolute worst.

And like you said, not so much aggressiveness, just people doing weird maneuvers without checking their surroundings.

This is hard to watch... such a beautiful Lexus being ruined by some careless idiotic driver. The video clearly shows it is their fault. Does their insurance end up paying for everything??

Southern CA also has a lot of bad drivers. I got rear ended two times in the past stopping at the red light lol my car Honda at that time was not even moving and the guy just came out smashing my back. He came down and said sorry.

At least she was nice enough to take responsibility right away.

Made a insurance claim little easier.

ppl just suck at driving.. within 2 days of getting my car back, I find new scratch on my rear bumper.... arggggggggg

I had someone do a U-turn like that in front of me a week or so ago. They did it with no traffic, but the fact is that they did it from the outside lane over three lanes (including the WIDE center emergency lane) AND they proceeded to drive epicly slow in front of me thereafter.

I was surprised you were so calm or so enraged you didnt speak. Footage of something like that would be completely filled with cursing if it happened to me.
People are pretty bad here in so-cal but that was just horrendous. Ive had a couple instances like that but I was able to swerve out of the way, slow down to avoid, or have had to drive onto the wrong side of traffic to avoid t-boning someone after they pulled out right in front of me like that.

Driving around terrible drivers keeps you alert. So do the foreign objects lying in the freeways here.
Ah, the price we pay for no humidity and constant warmth.

Costco is Canada, US, Mexico, Spain, Japan,Taiwan, UK. I remember going to a costco in BC Canada having a lobster roll in the food court.
