That is what I understand also - it is Lexus. A petition would be totally meaningless.

I'm still puzzled why they would do this while other makers (BMW, Acura, etc.) all have sites similar to Sewell and they aren't going to shut them down.

Some people bought the car KNOWING that they can count on places like Sewell to do the maintenance and or proper modifications.

Some companies protect their dealers as well as the integrity of their brand more so than others. This is done by controlling the quality of product and service, and the level of pricing for their products. Anytime another dealer is discounting products below the threshold that the manufacturer deems is reasonable it harms the company's other dealers and damages the reputation and prestige of the brand. In the golf world Titleist (Acushnet) and PING are good examples of companies that protect their dealers and their brand by tightly controlling retail pricing, both of which have been known to pull inventory from major retail stores (e.g. PGA Tour Superstores) for multiple years because of steep discount pricing that hurt other dealers that also stocked and sold their product.

Hi everyone, I purchased a 2012 Lexus CT just yesterday and was hoping to upgrade the bumper to the F-sport via sewellparts.com. It looks like no where else can beat their price. However, it looks like the site won't let me register anymore so I can purchase one before March 1. Anyone know anyway I can register so I can purchase this with the clublexus discount?

They aren't excepting new registrations. You can try calling them.

Has anyone tried MyLParts from Lexus of Roseville, CA? (Enter the year, make & model to display parts and prices.)

I don't know if their parts prices are discounted much, or how they compare in pricing or service with what Sewell Lexus has done previously...

Just placed my last order with them to a tune of $607. I think I covered mods and appearance items for the rest of the year.

MyLParts seems to have similiar prices if not cheaper and they offer free shipping on orders of 150$. I was planning on ordering fsport shocks and swaybars for my AWD on sewell before they closed but it seems that MyLParts prices are cheaper after shipping (about 70 dollars difference). Looks like I will be putting off the purrchase until summer.

It seems that sewell is more user friendly as MyLParts it is kind of difficult to find the parts without the part number but they can be easily acquired.

Does anyone know any promotion codes for MyLParts?

The only problem with us guys in CA is now we have to pay tax, it offsets the discount offered already and we only get free shipping over $150 order.

Placed my order for f-sport rear sway bar. It would have been 31$ cheaper on mylparts.com with the 10% and free shipping as well as not paying taxes. Guess that's the curse of living in Texas as Sewell is located just north of Austin in Dallas. I will use mylparts.com to get the front sway bar this summer. Guess on my next trip to Dallas I'll stop by there and let them know how sad I am to see them go.

So if it's corporate... How come myLparts isn't forced to shut down... Only Sewell?

Something seems a bit weird...
