That's too bad....a sad day it is. They were always good to all our members. Buy your 6 pack of oil filters now ( even if you take the car to the dealer to change oil).

I had the same problem. It's just a technical issue. Input your info and press enter on your keyboard. I emailed them and they told me this.

Sucks! I think there's another vendor that gives CL discounts? L Parts or something?

You have add something to your cart and then log in. Worked for me. I'm loading up on stuff now. Hate to see them go.

Message in cart "We will no longer accept parts orders from this website beginning March 1, 2015"

I just placed my order for the sways. I wasn't planning to do them yet but I can't let the $156 discount pass by. Plus I figured others might have the same idea and i'd hate for them to go out of stock.

There no longer doing online parts so the site will be closed. They're not going out of business.

I knew something was up when I (and some other non-US members) tried ordering some parts (to Canada in my case). Just last summer I ordered some exhaust tips from them with no problems, and just a months ago when I went to order a grille, they no longer had a selector to choose country to ship to... only US was available... no longer Canada*.

As it turns out, many Lexus dealerships were complaining that Sewell was undercutting them by stealing business because of the discounted cost for common items. These complaints created restrictions on products which included shipping outside the continental USA. Now I'm assuming that wasn't enough, and finally they were pressured to close down.

It seems silly that something like this would happen, but as I can see from the posts above, there aren't many alternatives to the almighty SewellParts, making them a target for stealerships alike.

*To fix this issue, I used shipito . com to forward my stuff to Canada.

First not being able to ship to Canada, but closing... that sucks

Here's another thread we got going on in the Canada section:

Man. First the the issue with purchasing warranties from Jerry and now this.
We should all send a email to Lexus about this or maybe a petition.
