Default wheel spec and offset, ive searched.

Im stumped... i want either a 17x8 +35, 17x8.5 +35 or a 17X9 +30 wheel setup.. ive searched about possibly needing wheel spacers to clear calipers? but i have no clue if this is a must.. does anyone have any xxr or similar wheels with the offset and size that i described above? anyone need those spaces to clear calipers? like i said ive searched and no one seems to want to get specific with details.. any help is appreciated......

I have 18x8 +35 winters. Not even close on the calipers.

willtheyfit.com to play with offsets and see how much clearance you gain/lose

Also matters on how big the disc is, but on most budget-friendly wheels they leave plenty of room so they can fit all types of cars.

Thank you for the reply! ive read that a couple people had to run spacers because the spokes on some wheels were contacting the calipers... just didnt want to buy wheels and run into any problems.. i dont like the idea of spacers, becomes a weak spot and i dont know if i trust extended lugs and stuff

the only reason im running 17s is because the tires on the car are still really good and it would honestly just be cheaper to swap them and the tpms sensors to different wheels...

Honestly, spend the money the first time and get what you want. Do you really think aftermarket 17" wheels will look as near as good as 18" or 19"? I am sure you could sell the 17" tires if you wanted to.

IMO 17" wheels are too small and regardless of how nice the wheels, they won't look as good.

all i want are 17's in a spec that will just be as flush as possible.. i have kids always in the back and im not wanting to be slammed..so thats why i want to stick with 17's. i just want to know which width and offset will be the most 'flush'
