Default Changing the ground wire?

Could anyone show me a picture of the specific ground wire that causes starting problems?

I think the IS might be having ground issues. Ran fine for a week after I changed the alternator, but now my parents are telling me they're having issues starting it.

I'm a dummy. When people say ground, do they mean the black wire going to the battery? I was thinking there was probably a thinner wire somewhere else.

There are other grounding wires but since you mention a starting issue I'm thinking it's your grounding cable. It's the black one connected to the battery. Sometimes there's corrosion in the terminals, loose terminals, or battery starting to fail. How old is your battery? You can get it tested for free at certain auto shops.
