What is the stiffness? Thickness means little.

Probably a carbon copy of the F-sport unit, except more cheaply made. Perhaps tube wall thickness is thinner too.

19mm and hollow? Aren't rears usually solid?
Picture looks more like the front sway bar.

Not a fan of Megan myself. Hotchkis makes a rear bar that is adjustable if that's what you like.

Both the bars & adjustable endlinks are available from FIGS.

If I didn't get the f-sport rear sway, I would have gone with the hotchkis.

No they're not. The rear bar is solid, the front bar, larger in diameter is hollow.

if you're RWD you should go for Hotchkis. They make our F-Sport sways. The front for the 350 RWD is same/similar, but the rear for the 350 RWD is thicker/stiffer on the Hotchkis than F-Sport. Not too sure on 250 RWD stats.

I guess a formed steel bar is automatically not hollow then. Until someone breaks one and posts the pics, I'll not be convinced. Growing up in a machinist garage, a TRUE steel bar the size of the rear sway bar would weigh alot more!

But I did find this if it helps anyone :

Thanks for posting that snapshot. I'll add some additional insight with this updated F-Sport Sway Bar data released by Lexus which has some Stiffness Increase % changes made to both the IS250 and IS350:

Just save yourself the hassle and get the three way adjustable sikky bar that comes with upgraded urethane bushings and some REALLY nice adjustable end links. check it out via link below. That's what we use exclusively here.

We have used the others and after installing these Sikky bars it doesn't make any sense to do anything different.

I've been a member here a long time, and witnessed a lot of threads from JE Engineering recommending Sikky products, like the two entities are not related, and JE is just being good guys. I've bit my tongue through all of this. But, no more.

I've done some investigating into Maryland State Records and discovered that both JE and Sikky are in fact owned by the same person, James Evans. JE was started in '99 and Sikky in '08.

I hope this charade ends and if JE Engineering wants to recommend Sikky products, and Sikky recommends JE, that's great. Just do it in the open. These clandestine recommendations are just are just silly and not very truthful.
