Default 07 IS 350 with 80k miles without Nav, or 08 IS 250 with 57k miles with Nav

I realize nav isn't that important but I do prefer it. The IS 250 appears to have a better maintenance record. It just had the carbon campaign done to it. I also like the fact is has 23k less miles on it. I definitely prefer a 350 in general, but this 250 looks extra clean... Between these two, what do you think assuming same price?

Pros of the 250:
  1. 23,000 less miles
  2. Better condition with maintenance records
  3. Navigation system
  4. New tires
  5. Better rims (in my opinion)
  6. 2008 model (350 is 07)

Pros of the 350:
  1. More power

Definitely the 350! You could always add those options later on but you can't do anything for the power gain.

I hear ya. The 250 is just pristine though. Just had the carbon rebuild done like 10 miles ago. Its also the color I want!!

If you want the power of a 350, then don't settle on either. Keep looking until you find one as pristine as the 250 you are looking at. Both of these cars sound like a compromise, so I say keep looking.

Ive been looking for 2-3 months. 350s are way too rare. At this point I just need a car as I dont have one at the moment.

You could have the car wrap to any color you want for about $1600;-)

get the 350! I don't like how sluggish the 250 motor feels.

If you get the 250 you will always wish you had gotten the 350 for the power. You can always add aftermarket stuff to the 250 to satisfy yourself, you can't add the 100hp nearly as easy. I know this from experience as I waited and waited and finally got a 350. Don't settle on power...used car rule of thumb.

If you ask me, hands down IS350. I love my old old IS350 2006 way more than my bought brand new IS250 2012!!! I learn my lesson the hard way so IS350 IS350 IS350

IS250 is to walking and IS350 is to sprinting. Also, you get the bigger front brake which offers more fade resistance and look way better. Day and night difference, my friend.

Get the ISF. If you get the IS250 it will feel sluggish, if you get the IS350 is will feel sluggish. The IS-F will not feel sluggish.

drove a 250 awd twice and it did feel sluggish. the 350 motor feels stout very torquey throughout the rev band. many times I tell myself why would you want a v8?? 350 is plenty fast for a daily. only advantage I see to a 250 is the awd. 350s have it since 2011

IS-F is under-utilized in street use. IS350 offers more than enough power on the street. 0-40 MPH on IS350 and ISF isn't much different, if any. Also, IS350 has better mileage than ISF.

IS350 is not sluggish, it is more likely the driver doesn't know how to drive. Jokking

I actually saw posts on here where people were getting higher mpg with the IS-F due to the 8 speed transmission. I guess owning the IS350 for 8 years makes it feel sluggish.

I guess it also depends on driving style, too. I sometimes get better mileage on IS350 than the IS250 because I floor the IS250 more that week haha.

Time for you to trade in your IS350 for the ISF or RCF

My choice for u is the is350. I was in the same boat as you. But between not one but two is350. One was 08 and 07. I pick the 07 Bcoz it's cheaper and have no navi like the 08. Never regret. Also a rare color. Extra HP and still give close enough mpG like the is250. Yes it's true. Is350 is a rare find. GL on your buy.
