One of my chief complaints is that the steering wheel doesnt come out further. Would it be possible for someone with a little mechanic chops to make the steering wheel telescope further than stock? I kind of doubt it, but oh man that would be sweet for my body size.

34 inseam, but when I put the seat far enough back the wheel just feels too far away.

Oh. I use to sit like that, but ever since I started driving a manual car I always sit in a proper driving position. Chances are you will not want to pay the price to make it extend. I do not know of anything to extend it further.
