2012 IS250 Headlight LED Strip Went Out
What if the led on your 2012 is 250 headlight went out ? Do you have to replace the whole headlight unit? Or is there a bulb for that led strip?

Good question, I want to know to.
I never see or hear anyone having the LED went out though. Mine is still looking good like day 1. If you have IS 2012 and if the headlight malfunctions, I believe it is covered under warranty. I know I don't have to worry about it with an extended warranty.

IMO, the LED seems to consists of a set of many small individual LEDs. These LED should last a very, very long time, possibly the lifetime of a car. I never heard anyone had a failed LED running out yet.
Don't over-worry lol Enjoy that LED lights, and make the ones who have older IS jealous j/k.

Here is an example of my headlight led strip (WENT OUT).
Hi,
I have the same problem that you mention with your LED STRIP (led drivers).
It's happening to me now,. They have been burning or turning off one by one.
The left side went out a few led bulbs and the right side appear to be one or more,
I just wanted to know if this is fixable or if i have to change the entire headlamp
Or it could be the ballast problem?
Please let me know,
Thanks.

Those led can be replace but not from dealership. Dealership will need u to purchase a whole new assembly since they say is not changeable. U can send it out to a headlight modifying shop and I'm pretty sure they can replace it for u but the thing is it won't be cheap and the led most likely won't match the other side
