Default Timken or Sewell Lexus wheel bearing

My front driver side wheel bearing a shot. My gfs dad hopped on a website and recommended a Timken brand bearing which is $170 compared to the Sewell brand which is like $300.

So.. my question, is Timken perfectly fine at half the price or do you guys recommend I go the Lexus route? I'd personally rather save money but I dont want to put a sub par piece on my car, I've heard the timken stuff is good because they make bearings. Thanks!

I've never heard of TimKin hopefully other members can chime in but for a little over 100 you may just considering going OEM.

The Timken Company been around for over 100 years (with sale over $3 billion in 2013).
To the OP- It is an US company but i am pretty sure they manufacture stuffs somewhere oversea. I think you should be OK using them. I have no experience with the IS350 bearings but i got Timken bearings from RockAuto before and no issue.

Timkin is a very popular brand. I'm buying my bearings, for my F350 turbo diesel, and you damn skippy I will not go cheap on that truck.

Timken Bearings are very high quality. They are even used in aviation.

Timken is reputable and makes many factory bearings. I used Timken for the two fronts on my IS350 without any issues. Would buy again.
