Hey guys I was backing up into friends garage today, I had my door open and had to back up a little more so he can close garage door and I suddenly seen on the little screen it said "revert back to park" or something like that.. Never seen this before tried doing a search but nothing came up. anyone know what this means? I have 07 is350

that message appears when your car is running with door(s) open, and the shift is not in Park position. Close the door and it will goes away

car just telling you its unsafe to open door while car is moving
so you either revert back to park or close doors

Car is displaying a " Warning " sign that you have your Door opening while moving the car on Reverse which is Hazardous according to your CPU. It's basic safety that automatically comes on. There's lots more you'll encounter.
