Im installing Fsport i lntake i replace the lower box and added the fsport air filter but now i see theres a white air filter on the top box do i remove that or just leave it doesnt make sense having that there on the top box

I think he's referring to the white mesh that is attached to the top half of air box, not the oem filter. I think its like a secondary filter to stop any large debris in case of filter failure. I left it on, it didnt seem like it was supposed to be removed

I believe it's a charcoal filter. Most other cars don't have this, but I thought I saw some dyno sheets that said removing it had no effect. So you might as well leave it.
