LED headlights replacement
Hi,
I have a 2009 Lexus IS 250. I am thinking about replacing the headlights to LED.
To this one: http://www.specdtuning.com/2lhp-is25006-tm.html
In here it mentions that FITS ALL 2006-2009 LEXUS IS250 WITH FACTORY HALOGEN HEADLIGHT MODELS ONLY.
How do I know if my car is a FACTORY HALOGEN HEADLIGHT MODEL? In other words will this product work on my car?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Talentph,
Looks like the replica headlights you are looking at have been covered quite a few times on this forum. Obviously a hot topic as upgrading to OEM LED is costly..
Here is a link to the most popular thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...s-alibaba.html
IMHO, I wouldn't do it as the quality seems subpar and the bulge in the corner is not appealing.

To answer your question, I believe if you car is equipped with factory HID you will lose them and go to Halogen. You will know if you have HID or not based on a few things.. The easiest would be to turn the car on and to the left of the steering column, there is a button that looks like this <O>. Press the arrows to scroll thru the options. If you see "AFS ON/OFF" as an option, the car has HIDs.
