My car is coming up on 150k miles, I’ve noticed a noise coming from my passenger side. It sounds like loose metal clanking whenever I go over bumps or I’m driving on a kind of rough uneven road. I’ve been trying to chase down the cause but have made no progress. Can anyone help with this please?

I'm a little late to this thread, but have you checked to make sure your spare tire, jack, and took kit are secured in your trunk? I was getting a similar unknown noise, and it ended up being a loose jack next to the spare tire. I had a hard time noticing where the noise was coming from, but it sounds like maybe you know it's in the front. I would check all the bushings on the front suspension.

but I took my car to pep boys and they actually put my car on the lift and showed me that it is the exhaust bushings and it’s the exhaust banging around. That was when I was around 196xxx miles. I fixed those and now I’m currently at 270xxx plus and haven’t heard the noise since replacing.
