Unhappy the PCM/ECM processor fault

Hi Lexus owners,

My car is due for a emission test and got this engine light on all the time. I tried clearing it out but it keeps coming back. I got that engine light checked through a local mechanic and it was showing the the pcm/ecm processor fault. Now i dont whether its failed or there are other things to test. Just wanted to get some information if anyone has faced this issue before.

Thanks

Hmm posting the code number from the CEL (check engine light) would be a start. This can be obtained from an OBD2 code reader. The mechanic must have used that to pull the code at least, so you can just ask him what the number was.
