Default Does an 07 IS350 have more headroom than an 06 IS250?

Or am I just going crazy? I drove an 07 350 last week and an 06 250 today. I THINK the 250 had less headroom but I might be totally imagining this. Maybe the 350 seats adjust down more? I feel like I felt more cramped in the 250 but I definitely could just be making this up as it has been a week between drives.

Perhaps it's time to 'head' to a shrink. Everything is the same structurally between 2IS models. FSport models do have differing seats, but I do not believe one sits lower than the other.

Like VT said, they're both the same dimensions. Given that the seat positions were set EXACTLY the same, the time of day you sit in the car can also affect your headroom space. You're taller in the mornings because your vertebrae is straightened over night. Maybe you drove the 250 in the morning and the 350 later in the day, hence the difference.

Funny enough, you're right about that. Sucks because I honestly love the car, but I'm 6'4" and most of my height is in my torso. I think I'm just too tall for it. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't buy the 350.. I was *this* close. Problem is now I don't know what to get. Don't like many other cars that could be had for ~$18-20k

You get more headroom if your car does not have a moonroof. I believe it is 1 inch.

I was good for the 10 minute initial test drive. But then I drove it for 30 and realized I just might be too big for the thing. I can do a gangster lean but im not trying to spend a bunch of money just to screw up my back!

I know people who are 6'4" who say they fit comfortably in a S2000. It depends on your proportions and driving position.

You probably can get aftermarket rails, which might lower the seat one to two inches.
