The seats i got had plugs/connectors cut off, but wiring is very similar so i just tapped into existing wires. Now as far as fitment goes, the passenger seats fits no problem, all the holes align perfectly, but the driver side requires some modification. Three of four seat mounts align fine with holes except for one. I took pictures of that mount/clamp that needs to be modified, so maybe i'll upload them later. Took me three days before i finally figured out how approach the problem and i finally finished the everything last night.

Odd, the lower center section of the driver's set sits further out than the passenger seat.

Anyhow, glad to see this worked out! I'm still looking at 3IS F-sport front seats for my 2IS; the side bolsters are so much better.

That's because the driver side has retractable thigh support. To be honest Lexus is becoming really cheap by not offering the same seat features/adjustment for both passenger and driver seats. And in my opinion the passenger is really quite awful compared to the driver side.

Nice upgrade and pretty custom. You don't really keep it that messy in your car, do you?

Are these more or less comfortable than the stock IS seats?

Oh, so that part actually rotates upwards when normally it sits in the "down" position like the passenger seat? Nice!

No, but i was in the middle of retrofitting a navigation, when these came in so things started to pile up hence the mess.

The stock seats are definitely softer while GS seats feel firmer, but in a good way. I was never a fan of 2IS seats, always felt tired on longer trips, plus the 'new' driver seat has so many adjustments that it is definitely an upgrade. Cant tell the same about the passenger seat, both I and my brother agreed that it feels worse than the stock seat, mainly because of its missing features that driver seat has.

Yep, definitely my favorite feature of the seat.

Stock vs new(on the right)

Stock on the bottom the new one on top of it

Basically the new clamp/bracket needs be removed from the seat railing and relocated so its parallel to the railing, cause otherwise it wont align with the hole in the floor.

Judging from the gloves I guess you have to weld there for that fourth tab to align correctly?

I assume that the additional functions of the GS seats all work now in the 2IS. What (if anything) modification to the wiring connectors or harnesses might you had to come up with to adapt to the GS seat wiring to the 2IS connectors?
