Default Just completed first oil change. One question?

Just completed first oil change. No issues except dealer did put the oil filter in extra tight.

I did have a question regarding oil filter. Is there supposed to be an access to drain the oil prior to removing the oil filter canister?

My OEM filter came with paper filter, two new o-rings, and plastic drain funnel element.

I used the larger o-ring on canister and looks like smaller one is for the oil drain part. But I looked at my filter canister and it is one solid piece. There isn't anything where I can remove to drain oil and use the plastic funnel. I'm confused. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

The smaller o-ring and drain funnel adapter are meant for AWD models, if you have a RWD model you won't be using them as the filter sits at a different angle and doesn't have an extra drain port on the end of the filter cap/housing.
