Recall question
I'm a little late to the party so excuse me lol
I bought by 06 is250 a year ago. It's got a top end rattle when it cold starts.
I know there was a few threads about it being a common issue. Is this something that will be covered under a recall if my car is out of warranty?

Im wondering what they are going to do as well. I have this issue took it to dealer and told them it clicks/rattles on random starts, usually cold start. I mention to service adviser that it could be the cam gears. He sent it to the tech and said the car is burning oil. Filled up oil to level and i have to come back in 1000 miles to check oil level.

sounds to me like they are trying to get out of doing it.
Id make sure that thing is full when it goes back lol
I've seen so many threads about this very issue but it was all for cars that still had low mileage and were under warranty. I just got my recall letter in the mile for the fuel regulator and i was going to try to have it all done at once if this something they'll cover.
