so I got my car back, apparently they only ordered front doors and dash and back doors are still on order. They said that they will call me when back doors come in. That is fine with me, the front and dash were the worst part of my car, now it looks freaking brand new up front. The rear doors in my car didnt really melt TOO badly. The new material is harder and more plasticy feeling than when what I remember when I first bought the car new. Original material was more soft and rubbery so it didnt feel cheap. I guess it couldnt handle the sun in the long term though. I am good for now.

Cant really complain because its a substantial repair for free.

^Great to hear! I'd not mind a harder dash surface as long as when I try to clean it with a clean microfiber cloth that the hair/lint/dust/etc doesn't get trapped into the dash surface!

For the IS250/350 the letter posted earlier in this thread states model years 2006-2008... But I would take it to the dealer regardless to see what they say.

I hope they got their facts wrong. That's why I hate that there's only one servco on this island. I get bs from them all the time that I think I'm going to have to call Lexus HQ. When the tsb for the brake pads came out I was still under warranty and they were refusing to fix it unless I pay out of pocket. after complaining, they said ok it's a one time on good faith. Then get the letter about the carbon buildup and scheduled an appointment with them a month in advance to have it looked at. Got their 730am to drop it off and they refused to even look at my car because it did not come in broken or with a check engine light. That's the last time I went to them. All I went is for my POS dash and doors to be fixed so I'm hoping they can at least do that. Unless I come in with a suit and tie I feel like no one gives a hoot to help you.

Is there a direct number to Lexus corp that anyone can tell me? Called servco Lexus honolulu to ask about the problem and other safety recalls that need to be done. The lady did not want to even hear me out and sounded irritated just for asking. She told me to bring it in and it will be on a case by case basis. Knowing how they operate, they find every excuse not to make good on anything. Is there any way I can call to the higher corporate office instead of dealing with them?

Yes there is a number. It sounds like they are just being difficult because they know there is no competition. This is something Lexus Corporate I am sure would love to hear because they value customer service so much. I've called them before but I don't remember the number. See if this one works: 1-800-255-3987

Hope it helps!
