Default Anyone get a letter from Lexus regarding potential recall?

I got one in the mail just yesterday. It was about some potential recall about gaskets or something like that. They must have sent it out to everyone. This was for the earlier IS models I believe

I believe it's the fix for the fuel issue. Glad they have parts available now to solve the issue.

How do the dealers deal with this massive number of recalled cars all of a sudden?? Their service department will be busy like hell lol.

I receive one for my 2006 IS350 which I paid off recently as well

I got mine two days ago; but if you actually read it, the contents merely are letting you know that there is a recall out there for the known issue and Lexus is working to resolve the issue. NOT that they actually have the parts to fix it or to go to your local dealership for the fix ASAP.

They will contact you again when they get everything in place to do the repair. Nothing to do now but wait. If you smell gas, park the car, call Lexus and get a loaner until they can fix your car.
