Guess you figured it out huh? Just a simple tug and pull procedure. Did your replacement valve come with a new O-ring?
Acutally it wasn't that sensor, was the plug that connects into camshaft position sensor. Last year when I did spark plugs wire from the plug came out and I fixed it but got loose again so had to re attach it back. Also for the vvt valve that cover has to come up cannot slide that out!
Just a simple tug and pull procedure. Did your replacement valve come with a new O-ring?
