AWD Exhaust question
I am a proud new owner of a 2007 IS250 AWD and after a lot of searching I can't seem to find the answers I am looking for. I found out that all of the "cat back" exhausts for our cars are really axle back exhausts because no one makes a mid pipe for the AWD models.
Do any of these axle back exhuasts actually make a big difference in sound? I know it wont do much for performance, thats not what im looking for, I want my car to make a nice sound when I step on it. I have listened to numerous sound clips and youtube videos of the Greddy, Nvidia, Tanabe, etc. exhausts on the AWD models and its hard to notice much of a difference on my computer speakers.
I just want a nice sound but nothing too loud that will get me pulled over.
I'm new to Lexus and this forum so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

So HKS Hi Power and the F sport will be a noticable difference? I'm just afraid of spending the money on an axle back that won't sound much different from stock. My car is fully stock right now but I plan on doing an intake in the near future as well.

Haha I feel like all I have been doing is looking at YouTube exhaust videos for the past few weeks, but all the AWD videos seem to have other upgrades like intake, headers, custom midpipe etc. And I'm fully stock right now. It's hard to find videos of people who did JUST the axle back exhaust

youtube doesn't do justice, gotta hear it in real life
i can tell you right now that HKS HiPower, GReddy EVO3, Lexus HKS or the F-Sport will yield VERY noticeable difference
Tanabe MT, Greddy SE/SP, Fujitsubo, Invidia Q300, etc. will NOT yield much difference (axlebacks only)

I have a 2011 IS350 AWD with the HKS Hi-Power exhaust and I’ve been debating getting the Megan midpipes and having them fabricated to fit my car since I know they only fit RWD. Do y’all think I should go that route or just have a shop make some custom stainless steel midpipes instead?
