J34 / 1 = GND
J34 / 12 = GAUGE (12V IGN)
J34 / 16 = TACH
J34 / 23 = DOME (12V BATT)

The blue wire is just an indication...will no.1 (j34 plug) start from the blue wire? Or the red wire?

For female connectors, Pin 1 is top left (blue in your diagram):

Default Going to correct my speedometer due to Final Drive Change

Can someone please tell me which wire has the speedometer signal? If you can tell me where to put it on the Dakota Digital SGI-5 Universal Speedometer Signal Interface Controller that would be great too.. There are so many inputs and I'm not sure what type of signal is coming throught the wire.

Here is a link to the speed corrector I will be using.

Thanks in advance for any help / info guys.

See my reply in your other thread. Speedometer accuracy is not affected by gearing changes on the IS250.

Can someone help me
I have a 06 is250,my rpm tach doesn't work.
it lights up and moves to the right when I start it,it also allows me to set the warning light for high tpms.
everything works on the cluster with no warning lights.
I also found a 06 cluster with the same numbers and plugged it in as same results???
do I have a bad signal or plug?

please help with any advice

Based on that, it seems like you lost the signal to that wire BUT it may not be that easy as the gauge cluster is a node on the can bus meaning some of the signals are multiplexed onto a single wire. So several outputs can be obtained from data on a wire.

Log onto the toyota TIS sight and pull up the schematic. If the tach sig is a dedicated wire it likely goes back to the ECM or the fuel injector driver. Just guessing tho.
Knowing several have had connection issues at both/either the ECM FI driver, I would disconnect them and inspect all of the mating pins for any signs of damage.

@Jeff Lange you wouldn't happen to know all the pins do you? pin 1 to 24 on J34? and possibly the pins on J35? I'm looking at testing out if I can get a 3IS F Sport cluster working on the 2IS.

Thanks

Thanks @Jeff Lange that's great info. Out of curiousity, where did you get this info from? i'm also looking for the pinouts for the 3rd gen speedo cluster. It has two main connectors and a smaller navigation related connector, you wouldnt happen to have that info would you?

I pieced that information together from various sources in the North American TIS system. You can access the information at the following locations:

North America:
https://techinfo.toyota.com

Europe:
https://www.lexus-tech.eu/
