anyone have the fsport chasis member brace? worth it?
I've rear a lot of reviews on the sway bars and am compelled to get them but wondering if anyone has the chassis member brace and can give us some feedback on it. I searched all the threads and couldn't find any real reviews. Thanks in advance.

redspencer has one and has posted his thoughts. He has a thread in the build section, which you can check but search for all his posts and you should find more. sffd103 also has one.

Hmmm... thanks Ohiois350! I see you have a 350 if anyone has a 250 I'd love to hear your feedback as well since i have a 250 and apparently it may be different. Ohiois350, do you have sways too? I'm about to purchase a set for my 250 and the difference between the 250 and 350 are also vastly different. Thanks again!

Yeah sway bars is the most important, I got them first, it only help when you fast on a sharp turn, but the car still feel floating when you drive on stock springs and struts, therefore I got the whole F-sport set up and love them, if you decide to upgrade your suspension, it's doesn't matter on is250 or 350, they are feel the same

Chassis stiffness and a well balanced suspension tune is the reason why the 3rd generation IS is praised for its responsive handling over a stock 2is. The 2is has the OEM components (F-Sport) to meet and/or exceed the 3is handling capabilities but it's something you'll have to build yourself instead of being available as a turnkey factory tune.

Based on my experience with the F-Sport chassis brace, I would disagree with this. The stiffness/responsiveness of the chassis is readily noticeable when the car is doing quick left to right slalom maneuvers. The polar moment of inertia is reduced when you install this component. My recommendation is to install the chassis brace after you've tuned the other suspension bits of your car as well as getting gripper tires.
